What is an Essential Oil?

For centuries, essential oils have been used for their therapeutic properties.

If you would have asked me about essential oils a few years ago, I would have said they help you relax.  Today, not only do they help you relax, but I also see them as one of the most effective tools for natural health and alternative medicine that I know. Say what? Well, maybe we need to sit down for a chat.

If you have ever enjoyed the scent of a rose, you’ve experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants.

Essential Oils work with our bodies, not against

Essential oils provide plants with protection against environmental threats and play a role in plant pollination.
