    What does a Balanced Third Eye look like?

    Keen intellect, strong intuition, imaginative, see the big picture, perceive and influence spiritual planes, goal driven and take action. Self-awareness, good memory, charismatic

    Common imbalances:

    Fast + Over Active:

    Receiving more than giving, overthinking, overanalyzing, over processing, fantasizing, hallucinations, difficulty concentrating, short attention span, obsessiveness, delusions, nightmares, self-centeredness, turmoil, anxiety

    Slow + Under Active/Depleted:

    Giving more than receiving, denial, delusions, easy to deceive, confusion, chaos, codependency, difficulty in planning for future, memory loss, perception issues, hard to keep cool under pressure, negative thinking, pessimistic thoughts

    Sometimes injuries present themselves when we need to bring a chakra back into harmony. For instance, you might have headaches, blurred vision and eye strain, sinus issues, moodiness or stubbornness.

    How To Balance Your Sixth Chakra

    Use aromatherapy on your body or room, hold + carry crystals with you, use colors in your food, clothes, visualizations, listen to sound healing for vibrational alignment, use your senses to engage active sensations, repeat affirmations and Reiki to bring your fifth chakra back into harmony with your energy system. Here are other associations and helpful practices you can do to bring more awareness + harmony to this chakra:

    • Element: Light
      Pay attention to colors around you, sungaze
    • Sound: Om + Tone ‘E’ (based on 432 hz)
      Use a singing bowl, tuning forks, your voice or any instrument to send vibrations to balance
    • Sense: Sight
      See beauty in things typically perceived as “ugly, people watch, clear sight writing
    • Color: Indigo blue
      Wear indigo blue. Avoid Flouride in your water. Eat a colorful diet.
    • Location: Center of Throat
    • Mudra: The Mudra of the Great Head
      Take your right hand just in front of the space between your eyebrows and curl the ring finger into your palm. Bring the tips of the thumb, middle finger, and index finger to touch, and keep the pinky finger extended long. Place the tips of the three fingers that are touching to your third-eye focal point. The left hand can remain on top of the left thigh, palm face-up or in Gyan mudra.
    • Opens: front + back.
    • Pair: Sacral chakra.
    • Yoga Poses: poses that touch third eye

      Lying down, place the stone over your third eye + meditate. Or place them in a place you look at often. Hold them in your pocket.

      Rub between eyebrows + all over face. Spray over face + head.
    • Affirmations: “I see” “I know”
      Repeat several times. especially when you feel in lack.
